Dress appropriately.
From footwear to underwear to accessories, you want to dress for the activity you are doing. It’s not about fashion or activewear couture; it’s about the ability to move freely, to feel comfortable and to stay dry, cool or warm depending on your activity. If you tend to be cold, wear layers to adjust to your needs. Keep safety and support are very important too. Wear shoes that give you lateral support when cross training, cushioning when doing high impact activities and replace them when they no longer provide you the support you need. Ladies, take care with proper coverage to keep things in place and out of sight and good support to minimize bounce (and pain).
